“Embracing the realities of fear, failure and hard conversations, done with purpose, can become a powerful source of energy for clarity, connection, and action.” -Schone

Schone Malliet’s experience as a Marine Corps officer and pilot, business-leader, executive, nonprofit founder and board member has shaped a clear conviction: real impact comes from helping people move beyond division towards understanding, authenticity, and purpose.

Schone’s passion is helping individuals and organizations uncover the WHY behind beliefs and behaviors, while translating that into value-driven leadership and meaningful change.

RELATIONSHIPS & SPEAKING

In his upcoming book “A Piece of Sky”, Schone Malliet endeavors to better understand his own life while allowing his successes, and, especially his failures, to stand as teaching points for others.

His emergence as a thought leader in the country’s post-DEI reality is marked by his striking honesty, authenticity, and ongoing search for a culture built on behaviors steeped in acceptance and recognition.  In this aspirational memoir, due in early 2026, he uses his own seminal experiences to illustrate the lessons he took from a fascinating journey that saw him go from a rudderless latchkey kid in the Bronx to the opportunities afforded by the College of Holy Cross where he was a struggling peer of an extraordinary group of young men destined for greatness on the national landscape.
